 Position Purpose

 The Payroll Coordinator duties include the weekly payroll processing of 2200 (plus) employees, including the reconciling and balancing of payroll data. The Payroll Specialist will communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external sources. 

               

Major/Key Accountabilities

 

•             Weekly payroll processing including entering, balancing and reconciliation of data

•             Comprehend piece rate payroll calculations and payroll adjustments 

•             Maintain employee personnel files electronically

•             Assist with processing of Unemployment claims

•             Process and assist with time and attendance application

•             Process, research and reporting of garnishments and other involuntary deductions  

 

Measures

               

•             Payroll processing issues

•             Involuntary deductions defaults (garnishments, levies and support orders)

•             Customer or employee satisfaction

•             Reporting
