Project Objective / Business Justification:

The Market Insights intern will be an integral part of the CHEP Market Insights team and provided with tasks that are both challenging and educationally stimulating.  The intern will support the advancement of our competitive strategy by translating insights into market and competitive trends.  This role will be focused on proactively monitoring CHEP’s dynamically changing market and competitive landscape, applying strategic thinking to assess implications for our business, and supporting the development and execution of resulting competitive and commercial strategies.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Partnering with sales to capture tribal knowledge/insights and translating into data

  • Evaluating market data to extract key trends and identify emerging business opportunities or risks

  • Providing strategic business guidance to the Sales team to inform our commercial and pricing approach

     

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field

  • If undergraduate, prefer Junior/Senior class levels

  • Strong analytical Excel skills

  • Strong market research and analytical skills

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Creative problem solver with high degree of service orientation
