Position Purpose

In charge for developing, implementing and delivering the road map for these commodities and has global responsibility across all business units.  Reporting into the VP of Procurement, this role functions as Procurement Manager for commodities under scope, including the delivery of the budget.


Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Develops, implements and delivers short, middle and long term road maps for Manufacturing Equipment in the Plant Automation Projects of our Service Centers in Brambles globally, giving immediate priority/focus to the United States.

  • Develop Service Agreements with Integrators & plant equipment vendors

  • Develop O&M agreements for our Automated lines

  • Liaises with GPLT team to get approval and sign off of plans

  • Develops, with support of the GPLT, execution plans and defined execution teams to deliver the road map

  • Actively looks for innovative technology that can bring Brambles competitive advantage

  • Leads selection & qualification of plant automation equipment new suppliers

  • Negotiates prices with suppliers

  • Writes global contracts

  • Prepares annual budget

  • Monitors Market Information

  • Supplier Relationship Management

  • Run Ad Hoc projects
