Position Purpose

  • This important role within FP&A is a high profile position, providing the business, IFCO global executives, and Brambles with analyses, data and conclusions used to evaluate performance, analyze and drive key business initiatives, report and make recommendations to IFCO and Brambles leadership, and shape business strategy

  • Responsible for providing planning and analysis of division budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning processes, but involving both IFCO’s United States and Canadian separate businesses and legal entities.

  • Support monthly profit and cash flow analyses to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends that are critical to managing the business

  • Involved in reporting actual, budget, and forecast financial results for IFCO Global consolidation

  • Responsible for critical ad-hoc analyses as required by management

  • Reporting on and helping to implement improvement in commercial, operational, and capital initiatives


Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end reporting and analysis functions.

  • Lead, instruct, organize, and provide problem resolution associated with the company-wide budget and forecast processes, strategic plan and other key financial modelling.

  • Prepare and assure reasonableness of key financial presentations for senior management including reporting of monthly and YTD actuals, forecast, budget, and strategic plan presentations.

  • Develop recommendations of key initiatives to improve the profitability of the business

  • Lead implementation of key profit improvers, requiring regular communication with IFCO commercial, operational, and financial executives

  • Assist business leaders in implementing and monitoring key initiatives

  • Serve as back-up for key recurring responsibilities of Sales Forecasting and Pricing



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting

  • Master’s Degree preferred



  • 3-5 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting

  • Experience in Planning and Analysis at a multinational corporation preferred


Skills and Knowledge

  • Holistic financial statement experience and acumen required, role spans the entirety of IFCO’s financial statements and information

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required as well as the ability to prepare and deliver complex presentations to Senior Management

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Detail oriented and highly organized

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to organize and efficiently analyze large data sets

  • Strong process management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced proficiency in Excel

  • Experience in multiple financial systems including SAP, Microsoft Access, proprietary customer interface tools, FP&A and database systems, Hyperion
