INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
This is an opportunity to work with the UX team who supports both internal and external application design. The purpose of this role is to assist senior designers to complete all aspects of design, including brainstorming, ideation, storyboard, wireframe and mockups.

Applicants must be enrolled in BA or MS program in a related discipline. Applicants must demonstrate excellent visual, communication and problem solving skills, as well as strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite or other relevant design software.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE / BUSINESS JUSTIFICATION
Objective of this opportunity will be to leverage current educational content and experiences as follows:

• Work closely with senior staff on all aspects of design
• Create presentations using PowerPoint and Keynote
• Create animations using Adobe After Effects
• Design UI/UX using hand-sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software
• Help create a companywide Design Guideline, as a control for UI widgets across all projects
• Ad hoc projects

SKILLS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience and skills can be varied. Applicants are ideally seeking career opportunities in UI/UX Design. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.

The ideal candidate will be driven and possess problem-solving and strong graphic skills. Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision is required.

The intern will be treated as a professional hire and will gain experience in a robust, global design environment. Time will be allocated to coaching & mentoring, answering questions, listening, and relationship building. They will be given the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
