Position Purpose
Visual designer with strong interests and expert capabilities in the design and development of business applications to support the digitization of Bramble’s pallet, rpc and container business

Major/Key Accountabilities
We are looking for a Visual designer with strong interests and expert capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly graphic skills as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive industrial experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centric design methodologies is a must. Role responsibilities include

Design patterns and components to create and maintain a scalable and consistent product.
Deliver pixel-perfect design and craft beautiful icons and illustrations
Demonstrate strong visual design skills, branding, and knowledge of product design best practices
Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas.
Make design decisions based on testing, experience, research and data
Work closely with UX Designers, developers, and architects.
Familiarity with process flows, site maps, wireframes, screen prototypes, and functional specifications.
Video/animation, motion graphics, and prototyping

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design, interaction design, new media design or related design field

Experience
• 3+ years of visual design experience across a variety of digital media within a creative agency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong color theory, ability to craft icons and illustrations
• Have a good understanding of web technologies and best UI/UX practices
• Understanding of design language and how to execute a consistent system
• A solid portfolio that showcases layout experience, typography expertise, UI design patterns

Skills and Knowledge
• Expert knowledge of one or more design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks.
• Proficient with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
• CSS, HTML
• 3D modelling, After Effects, rendering and animation
