Position Purpose

Procurement Strategy and Transformation Manager provide skills and experience related to sourcing and procurement, designing and implementing strategies that transform buying and selling with differentiating sourcing and procurement strategies, processes, technologies and organizations.  The Procurement Strategy and Transformation Manager is responsible for partnering with the regional and global Procurement professionals, BPO and Sourcing teams to ensure that they are operating within the established process and policies.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Responsible for end to end ownership of the Procure to Pay process
  • Have expert knowledge of process design and documentation as well as an enthusiasm for training & educating process users
  • Strategic developer of efficiencies through the P2P process
  • Partner to understand requirements and priorities impacting the procure to pay process
  • Work closely and provide direction to both internal staff on continuous improvement of the procure to pay process
  • Drive stakeholder satisfaction through identifying value add and continuous improvement opportunities on the procure to pay process
  • Provides input to technical leads to support improvements to the Procure to Pay systems environment

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Sourcing & Procurement experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Cloud-based S2P platforms (Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 5 or more years’ experience in Procure to Pay processes
  • 2 or more years in a managerial position within the Procurement process
  • Experience working for a Global corporation
  • Experience in managing stakeholders through change
  • Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
  • Demonstrated experience in process and service management
  • Excellent data-driven problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
  • Ability to influence at all levels with a customer facing mindset
  • Ability to take initiative and work within an autonomous environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Graduate Degree Preferred
  • Strategic cost reduction Supply Chain Management (Value Prop)

 

Experience
