Position Purpose

  • Provide key analytics aimed at providing business intelligence to Operations and occasionally entire Supply Chain team. 

  • Data extraction, consolidation, analysis, modeling and interpretation that will assist manager in providing recommended course of action around key supply chain metrics.

  • Monthly data pull, and progress status of SC initiatives reporting. Develop process with Manager for identifying additional opportunities across the various regions.

  • Play key role in development of robust Operating System for Operations, including SOP and work instruction gap analysis, updates, robust Ops training program and conformance measurement.

  • Daily support of operations team in 1st line support with system access, report generation, dashboard creation and work instructions.

  • Will be a key knowledge point of contact for all CHEP Operations systems.

 

Scope

  • Operations and Supply Chain support

  • Involved in two or more development and/or Supply Chain projects at a time.         

 

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Support Operations team with all data consolidation and analysis requests.

  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of operations initiatives, including consolidation of data into monthly executive level views.

  • Deliver assigned work streams and analysis for CHEP Operating system including  handling, creating, and validating all Plant Operations Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Deliver effective and timely TPM / Reverse Logistics implementations providing support to our customers and supply chain.

  • Guide Operations through reporting and communication in achieving A-Stock audit compliance metrics.

  • Manage, maintain, and continue to improve 3rd party management external SharePoint sites and forms.

  • Responsible for communications, developing and delivering training on new products, processes and systems to Supply Chain as needed.

  • Ability to lead, organize and report out on projects / work streams assigned.

  • Will make development and analysis decisions within the position’s framework and architecture.

  • 3rd Party Management group, plant personnel

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or in relevant business analysis discipline e.g. finances, engineering, operations, supply chain, or equivalent experience.

 

Experience

  • 3-5 years applicable financial and operational analyst or related supply chain experience, including all aspects of analysis (i.e. data mining, validation, interpretation, analysis, modeling, report creation, evaluating final results, providing solutions and recommendations).

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience using Qlikview is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel (pivot, v-look ups, macros, etc) and Access skills

  • Excellent project management, time management, and organization skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good organizational ability and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex tools and concepts quickly

  • High attention to detail and accuracy with ability to report details in clear, concise summary for management

  • SharePoint Experience preferred

  • Understanding of Supply Chain and Operations

  • Experience with Six Sigma/Lean methodologies preferred
