The Service Center Lead will train new employees, assign daily work assignments and engage the team in daily production activities. This position will also be able to assist the shipping & receiving department and lend a hand to maintenance if help is needed in either area.

The Service Center Lead will ensure that SOP’s as they relate to quality, safety and production are being followed. The Service Center Lead will act as the manager when the Service Center Manager is absent.

• Lead the daily production within the service center to include training new employees and leading the team with a sense of urgency
• Oversee a staff of 6-8 full time or temp employees
• Ensure that quality and safety SOP’s are being followed

• Lead the production team and meet productivity expectations
• Record daily inventory

• Ensure compliance with all SOP’s encompassing safety, quality and production
• Will act as manager when the service center manager is absent

• Service Center Manager

• Transportation vendors – if assisting the shipping & receiving department

• 1-3+ years supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting
• 1-3+ years experience in a warehouse setting
• Forklift experience

Desirable Qualifications:
• OSHA certification
• CPR / First aid training

• Relevant experience as a people manager (for example directing the activities of front line personnel)
• 1 to 3+ years of experience in highly productive manufacturing or food production environments

• Microsoft Office
• Working with teams or groups
• Strong work ethic
• Problem solver
• Ability to adapt to changing situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi task and operate under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Self-driven and motivated
