Position Purpose• The primary role of the Bilingual Employee Relations Manager will be providing support and guidance to the HR Field Team in 9 Latin American countries .This role will also be the primary contact for the Company’s Spanish-speaking employees in the U.S.  Reporting to and in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Employee Relations Americas, the Bilingual Employee Relations Manager will develop, administer and assist in the implementation of employee relations procedures and policies throughout the region.  This includes consulting and providing guidance to leadership and employees with regard to company policy, practices, and state/federal employment laws, conducting internal workplace investigations and creation of ER policy and training.• The successful candidate will also be expected to perform informal supervisory responsibilities and mentoring of junior team members, as well as step in for the Senior Manager of Employee Relations when necessary.  Major/Key Accountabilities• Partner closely with HR Business Partners, and other HR functional teams in order to drive ER work throughout Latin America.• Engage with employees and leadership to conduct ER related assessments and investigations, and discuss continuous improvement opportunities.• Participates in the creation of a system to analyze ER data/metrics for themes, trends and root cause identification.  Develop and deliver an integrated plan to key partners in order to link organization and people strategies, helping advance the deliverables and priorities of the company.• Identify development opportunities and coach company leaders in order to increase their managerial and leadership effectiveness.• Advise/counsel executives and people managers on a wide variety of personnel issues ensuring compliance with all state/federal leave laws in coordination with related company policies. • Conducts internal workplace investigations and recommends resolutions to employee problems, issues and concerns. • Ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state and local employment law, • Participates in the creation and rollout of ER policy & program initiatives.• Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regard to company policy and relevant employment laws through coaching, presentations, and training.• Deliver relevant business solutions, tools, and resources to support and positively shape the employee experience.• Assist with project work as needed to include training, facilitation of classes, research, and other projects that support the business.• Serve as a role model, and demonstrate the value proposition for diversity and inclusion, to include organizational vibrancy and advocating the company’s culture and heritage.Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, psychology, sociology, industrial labor relations, and/or equivalent work experience.• Experience with Case Management software.• Ability to speak and write Spanish.Preferred• Advanced Degree• Ability to speak PortugueseExperience • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in conducting internal Employee Relations investigations.• Minimum of 5-years leadership experience or in a professional level role.• Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong time management and prioritization skills.• Proven experience and strong understanding of continuous improvement and measurement processes• Strong understanding of all aspects of federal, local and municipal employment and human resources related laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts and practices.Skills and Knowledge• Must be able to identify issues and develop approach to solutions with minimal oversight in a confidential, objective, and systematic manner.• Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow through skills • Knowledge of general HR policies/programs and the ability to communicate such in a concise way. • Proven business acumen, strong decision-making, and root cause/analysis skills.• Ability to work collaboratively, lead and influence at all levels within the organization, and make decisions while keeping partners and leaders informed.• Proven ability to challenge organizational thinking.• Demonstrated ability to develop and establish processes, procedures and metrics.• Demonstrated strong written/verbal communication and facilitation/presentation skills.LanguagesEssential:  • English• SpanishDesirable:• Portuguese
